Welcome to historic Old Town Albuquerque! This area began as a small 10-block settlement filled with adobe buildings. Though we're just passing through, it’s packed with history and ghost stories.
This historic building is one of the oldest in Albuquerque and New Mexico. It was occupied by the same family for over 200 years, making it a fascinating glimpse into the past.
This church has served as a key place of worship since 1706. Originally called St. Francis Xavier, it was later renamed St. Philip Neri, or 'Felipe' in Spanish.
Passing the Covered Wagon, built in 1880 by Manuel Springer, who originally operated a saloon called The Mint. Saloons like these played a big role in Old Town’s lively history.
The Bottger Mansion is the only place to stay in Old Town. Built in the early 1900s, its history stretches back to a 1700s adobe house that once stood on this site, with many ghost stories attached.
Hidden in a charming plaza, this lesser-known chapel is newer but equally intriguing. It offers a peaceful yet mysterious spot to reflect on Albuquerque’s spiritual past.
